On March 2, Cortlandt’s Planning Board will begin public hearing on Hudson Ridge Wellness Center’s request to operate a substance abuse treatment facility on the former Hudson Institute site located on Quaker Ridge Road.  The applicant is proposing to operate a 90+ bed facility catered primarily to corporate-sponsored affluent patients and their families.

Please make every effort to attend the Planning Board’s meeting via Zoom on March 2, as we need to show the Board our collective support to limit commercial development in the greater Teatown area.

In September 2020, Westchester County Supreme Court overruled Zoning Board’s decision that Hudson Ridge Wellness Center is not a hospital, which allowed the applicant to go back to the Planning Bard for their determination on the environmental assessment of Hudson Ridge Wellness Center.  At the February 2021 Planning Board’s meeting, the Board voted to begin public hearing at the March 2 session.

We will update you with PB’s  Zoom link when it’s made available and any important details as we get closer to the March session.
